Arlynne has been a Planner for the City of Hayward since 1997 and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners. She is also a Certified Green Building Professional. Arlynne chose the field of urban planning because it allows her to influence the urban environment's impact on the Earth and her inhabitants.  She has been an organizer for the Alliance for Survival, a non-profit anti-nuclear organization and a former chapter president of Friends of the Earth as well as a Citizen Forester for the TreePeople.  Arlynne is also active in the LGBT community. She is a regular volunteer for the San Francisco LGBT Pride Parade and Celebration and has served two years on the Lighthouse Community Center board of directors. Arlynne is a recipient of the Joanna Caron Memorial Award from TransGender San Francisco. 

She explores life's spiritual and metaphysical mysteries.  In her free time, she enjoys altar building, volunteering, traveling, wine tasting, photography, gardening, and spending time with her friends and family.

James is a Druid in the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids centered in Sussex, England. He is the leading Ovate of the Taliesin in the San Francisco Bay Area, and represents them on the Council of 8 governing the Druid House of Danu where he serves as the corporate board president and Gorsedd Master.

James practices law in the town of Benicia, California. He is among the first graduating students from the oldest public interest law school in the country, New College of California, School of Law and is best described as a community activist. Over the years he has been on Boards and Commissions, or founded non-profit corporations, that operate homeless shelters, domestic violence shelters, sexual assault programs, drug treatment programs, legal aid offices, after school programs for elementary school children, and has served as president of the Benicia School Board.  During the Vietnam War, he operated the largest draft counseling center West of Chicago that freed over 15,000 men from the War.  He later worked to help returning veterans as a member of the initial staff of Swords to Plowshares in San Francisco. 

He is a musician who has performed with Babatunde Olatunji at Big Sir, the famous Puerto Rican Drummer, Modesto Capeda, at La Pena in Berkeley, and performed with Gideon and his Zulu Dancers, and Kismet Mahal at the Harmony festival in Santa Rosa.  James was music director for the staging of Equus at the Ashby Theater in Berkeley for the Magic Acts Theatre, and has opened for Axis Mundi at the Ashkenaz in Berkeley.  Jim also served as art director for the Carnival of Venice in San Francisco.  He is a member of the Spiral Dance Chorus, and has been a band member of World Fusion groups, such as, Tenuka and Mahal.  Over the past 7 years, James has performed with Danse Macabre at numerous Renaissance Faires and Dia de Los Muertos in San Francisco. . He is trained in 23 instruments and has been the back-up drummer for belly dancers and fire spinners in performance at Burning Man.

She has worked with the elderly population for the majority of her adult life, holds an RCFE license, and was an Assistant Executive Director in a Nursing Home in Burlingame where she learned to love the Elder population.  Following this path she found other avenues to enact change in the nursing home Industry.

Born to a catholic family, she converted to Judaism and has, more recently, rediscovered her pagan path. She still identifies with each of these communities, and feels that it is important to preserve her rights--and everyone's rights--to practice any spiritual path.

She has lived in the Bay Area since 1992 and has been a part of the Pagan Alliance since 2008, volunteering and offering her help when and where ever she could. Christine is very community minded and volunteers for many other groups and Bay Area Organizations. Often seen gardening, she also does needle point, softball, soccer, yoga and enjoys dancing when she isn’t baking or assisting one of the many community organizations she volunteers for. She has also traveled to many ancient ruins of the world. She lives with her 9 year old daughter in Pacifica.

A practicing solitary, newly out of the “broom closet,” Sparrow is excited to be working with The Pagan Alliance.  She considers herself a professional wanderer and bohemian, has been involved on and off stage with The San Leandro Players, designed chapbooks for local poets and is a certified Pet Care Technician. She loves to bake, blog, and macramé, play dress up with vintage clothes and sway her hips in the middle of drum circles.
